DBK Concepts Expands Operations In Southwest Miami-Dade Florida
10/10/2013
The company provides services for national companies such as Ryder, Starbucks, McDonalds, UPS, Coca Cola, Saks Fifth Avenue, Prada and Sears, according to CEO Danny Katz. Some of those services include hardware consultation and sales, buy-backs, rebates and software development.
“Miami-Dade has been an ideal location for our business because of the diverse workforce but we are also excited about the current growth in the local tech industry,” Katz said.
“DBK’s planned expansion is great news for our community,” Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez said. “While we’re always excited to see job growth in any form, it’s especially meaningful when it involves a local company that has found success in their hometown and is willing to reinvest in that community. I’m most excited for the local residents who stand to be hired as a direct result of DBK’s expansion and I wish the company continued success.”
“The expansion of DBK in Southwest Miami Dade is welcome economic-generating news, citing jobs and for the betterment of our community,” Miami-Dade Commissioner Dennis C. Moss said.
The Beacon Council assisted the company with state and local incentives, labor training, and business contacts and referrals. This is the company’s third expansion.
Beacon Council President and CEO Larry K. Williams said, “DBK Concepts is a great part of our community. We are delighted to assist them and appreciate the valuable services they provide and jobs they create.”
“The Beacon Council’s assistance has been invaluable,” Katz said. “That’s why we keep coming back.”
