Michigan Manufacturing International Completes Expansion Of Stevensville, Maryland, Headquarters
10/21/2015
According to company officials the expansion project was undertaken in preparation for the future growth of MMI as well as to accommodate tenants who are seeking affordable, high-quality workspaces in a new facility that also has a view of the Chesapeake Bay.
The addition to the facility can be divided into nine spaces with each suite having its own separate 480-volt electric service. The building is protected by a full sprinkler system that allows open racking to heights up to 17 feet. Other storage methods can reach elevations up to the 24-foot clear ceiling.
MMI CEO Jacob Prak said, “This expansion is in response to the growing demand for our products and services, both domestically and globally. The additional space will enable us to meet our customers’ needs by allowing for the installation of new machinery, increasing our warehouse storage capacity and adding workspace for our personnel.”
Michigan Manufacturing International products include assemblies, castings, stampings, machined parts, gears, bearings and more. Services include product engineering, manufacturing, inventory management and stocking programs.
