Don’s Cold Storage Plans $14 Million Temperature-controlled Warehouse in Joplin, Missouri
10/25/2012
The company, headquartered in Rogers, Arkansas, said it plans to build its newest facility in the Joplin-Webb City Industrial Park. "Through consistent fiscal discipline, holding the line on taxes and supporting local communities like Joplin, we've created a climate where businesses are investing in Missouri and creating jobs," Gov. Jay Nixon said. "As a result, companies like this are choosing Missouri as the place to create new jobs, grow their business and move our economy forward."
Don's Cold Storage provides temperature-controlled warehouse and transportation services, including blast freezing and cold and dry storage, to multiple industries in the continental United States as well as product export services across the globe.
As an incentive to assist Don's Cold Storage in moving forward with its growth plans, the company could be eligible for a strategic economic incentive package from the state of Missouri if it meets the strict job creation and investment criteria of each program, the Governor's Office said.
