Scan-Pac Mfg., Inc Expands Its Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, Manufacturing Facility
10/03/2013
The firm, which employs 125 workers, is a manufacturer of non-asbestos friction materials and phenolic laminates for use in a wide range of industrial and oilfield applications. The company has three manufacturing locations that include two facilities in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin and one in Magnolia, Texas.
“As a result of Scan-Pac’s sustained growth during the past five years and our outlook for the future, a new building was essential,” stated Michael Dover, company President. The company’s growth stems from their continuous development of innovative materials that drive Scan-Pac into new markets and opportunities. This building acquisition will support the company’s growth plans for the next 5 to 7 years. In addition, the building is positioned on six acres of property that will allow for future expansion.
“This building expansion, along with new product lines being introduced in the coming year, will provide for up to 22 additional manufacturing jobs at our Menomonee Falls plant over the next three years,” said Thalia Maniotis, HR Manager. “In cooperation with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation,” added Paula Weiss, VP Finance, “Scan-Pac is eligible for up to $431,000 in tax credits to support the expansion and job creation within the State of Wisconsin.”
