Harris Pillow Supply Expands Operations In Beaufort, South Carolina
11/10/2016
Currently located at 3026 Trask Parkway in Beaufort, the company will be relocating to a larger facility at 5 Parker Drive in early 2017. For its new, expanded operations, Harris Pillow will be looking for skilled and experienced workers to join its production and administrative teams.
“We are blessed to have experienced a growth in business over the past few years and are tremendously grateful for the support given to us by our local chamber of commerce, Beaufort County government, as well as the South Carolina Department of Commerce. We are excited about the move as the new facility will enable us to install more equipment and expand into even more markets,” said Harris Pillow Supply Vice President Patrick Harris.
“The fact that Harris Pillow has decided to expand its South Carolina operations is a huge win for the people of Beaufort County and for our state’s growing manufacturing industry. Our state is on the move in so many ways, and this $2.1 million investment that means 22 jobs is just one more example of Team South Carolina’s hard work paying off for the talented people who make up our elite workforce,” Governor Nikki Haley said.
“South Carolina is proudly leading the manufacturing renaissance, and Harris Pillow’s expansion is yet another win for the manufacturing sector in our state. Their growing footprint here underscores the fact that South Carolina continues to be ‘Just right’ for both new and existing businesses,” said Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt.
