Detroit Tool Metal Products Expands Its Lebanon, Missouri, Manufacturing Plant

11/13/2015
A Tier 1 supplier to the agriculture, industrial and transportation industries, Detroit Tool Metal Products will invest $4.2 million to expand its manufacturing plant in Lebanon, Missouri. The company will add 42,000 square feet of space and two new lines of coatings production to its facility. The project is expected to create 30 jobs in the area.

Parent company Ironform says the expansion, which is expected to create 30 jobs, is to accommodate increasing customer demand for new powder coat and E-coat lines. Ultimately the new lines will give Detroit Tool Metal Products cost advantages and allow the company to meet rising customer demand.

“We’re always excited to see companies recognizing the competitive advantages of growing their businesses in Missouri,” said Mike Downing, Director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development.

To assist with the company’s expansion, the Missouri Department of Economic Development offered a strategic incentive package that Detroit Tool Metal can access if it meets strict job creation criteria.
