Canadian Packaging Manufacturer to Create 63 jobs in Lawrenceburg, Indiana

IntraPac Group, a packaging manufacturer for the personal care and pharmaceutical industries, has announced it will add 63 jobs in Lawrenceburg, IN, by opening a new 80,000-sq.-ft. facility in that community. Already under construction, the plant is expected to be up and running by February 2012. Hiring for the new jobs begins in December.

Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, IntraPac employs over 250 associates in North America. This project is part of the company's plans to relocate operations in New Jersey to the Hoosier State.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. will give IntraPac up to $415,000 in tax credits and up to $150,000 in training grants based on job-creation plans.

Founded in 2003, IntraPac designs and produces diverse packaging products, including plastic bottles, laminate and tin tubes, deodorant sticks, droppers and specialty coating services.
