Eclipse Automation Readies Cambridge, Ontario, Operations Hub

According to company officials, strategically located at 385 Thompson Drive, the new facility will add additional 30,000 sq. ft. of much needed manufacturing space, expanding the company’s machining and assembly capabilities.
This latest addition will be operational in Mid- December 2017 and will help to unify the company’s offerings, support current and upcoming automation contracts and reinforce Eclipse’s commitment to local manufacturing.
Steve Mai, CEO & President of Eclipse Automation said, “We are excited to announce that Eclipse is growing again at our Cambridge location, adding our 6th building to our campus. This addition reinforces Eclipse’s commitment to our customers and the community, aligned to their positive response towards our company. Eclipse has consistently been investing in our business relationships and our customers, and this next level of growth reinforces our response to them and what we set out to achieve in the automation industry.”
Eclipse’s workforce has exceeded 300 members this year, operating through 9 facilities within Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and in Arizona, California and North Carolina.

Due to our dynamic industry capabilities and diversification, the overall response has been very positive leading to 45% increase in our workforce. As Eclipse continues to grow we will be looking for an additional 100 new hires for 2018, ” Mai added.
