SAGE Automotive Interiors Expands Greenville County, South Carolina, Operations
12/10/2015
“We are pleased to be announcing further investment in South Carolina. This investment in Greenville County is significant for our associates and operations. Maintaining state of the art facilities and technology for our associates in South Carolina is critical to our success,” said SAGE Automotive Interiors President/CEO Dirk Pieper.
To expand its Greenville County operations, the company is upgrading equipment and technology at its existing manufacturing facility, located at 518 Pumpkintown Road in Marietta, South Carolina. Expected to be completed in phases beginning in 2016, the expansion will allow SAGE Automotive Interiors to position its facilities for future growth.
Established in 2009, SAGE Automotive Interiors is a top provider to original equipment manufacturers in the automotive industry. With four facilities across the Palmetto State, the company employs approximately 900 South Carolinians overall. Today’s announcement complements a $4 million expansion in Abbeville County, which the company announced earlier this year. Together, these Upstate investments reflect SAGE Automotive’s ongoing commitment to remain a leader in the dynamic global automotive market.
“SAGE Automotive Interiors is one of our fantastic corporate citizens that has shown the world that South Carolina is a state where businesses thrive. We’re excited to celebrate SAGE’s second expansion in our state in only a year because, with each expansion, the 900 South Carolinians who work there, as well as our entire state, see that SAGE is committed to them and to building on this momentum,” said Governor Nikki Haley.
