Reinicke Athens, Inc. To Establish Manufacturing Facility in Laurens County, South Carolina
12/17/2014
Located in the Owings Industrial Park on Old Laurens Road, RAI’s facility will allow the company to strengthen its existing customer base in South Carolina. Additionally, the facility will allow RAI to expand its operations to support new manufacturers who need customized support in the installation and implementation of process equipment.
Founded in 1996 in Athens, Georgia, RAI specializes in fast-track installations, relocation of industrial manufacturing equipment and full-service, turnkey construction. Construction of the facility is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2015. “We are looking forward to expanding in South Carolina to better serve our clients in the region,” said Reinicke Athens, Inc. President Mark Christopherson.
“RAI’s decision to locate in Laurens County is great news for our state and is further proof that all of South Carolina is open for business. We welcome RAI to South Carolina and celebrate its $4.5 million job-creating investment in Laurens County,” Governor Nikki Haley said.
