Area Development Online News Desk (12/28/2009)
Zenta Mortgage Services, a global financial services outsourcing company, will invest $2.19 million to expand its operations in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to the North Carolina governor's office. The New York-headquartered company plans to create 1,002 new jobs at an average annual salary of $47,900 plus benefits and will begin hiring next month. "We are excited about our opportunity to expand in North Carolina," says Henry Hortenstine, Zenta's CEO. "The Charlotte market offers a strong supply of talented financial services professionals. In addition, we are pleased with finding a campus setting at Forest Park that is conveniently located and able to readily accommodate our rapid growth needs." The state will provide performance-based incentives to Zenta that could total $8.6 million in maximum benefits if targets are met and sustained for nine years.
