Agrinos Begins Construction Of Production-Laboratory Complex In Clackamas, Oregon

12/28/2015
Agrinos, a leading biological crop input provider committed to improving the productivity and sustainability of agriculture worldwide, started construction of a new, state-of-the-art production facility in Clackamas, Oregon.

The 28,000 square-foot facility near Portland will accommodate increased production capacity for the Agrinos line of proprietary High Yield Technology microbial products, marketed under brand names that include HYT® A, iNvigorate, AMPLUS, N-Gage as well as others.

According to company officials, strategically located relative to Agrinos' Global Biological Solutions Research & Development Center in Davis, California, and its production facility near Navojoa in Sonora, Mexico, the new production facility will be leveraged to supply both domestic and international markets and meet growing demand from distribution partners and growers.

"We're very pleased to locate our new facility in the Greater Portland area," said D. Ry Wagner, CEO of Agrinos. "In addition to the logistical advantages for transporting Agrinos' products worldwide, we also have the opportunity to seamlessly integrate this new facility with the new product development efforts underway at our Research and Development operations in Davis, California, and with our current production operations in Sonora, Mexico."

Wagner added that the new production facility will include a quality control and quality assurance lab, where extensive testing will be conducted on raw materials and products at various stages of production to ensure Agrinos' exacting standards of quality are met before packaging and shipment. Production at the new facility will begin in 2016 with further expansion to produce new commercial products expected in the future.

Agrinos' microbial products are produced by a unique fermentation process of naturally occurring soil microbes. Applied to the soil, these products have been shown to consistently deliver higher yields and improved crop quality across diverse soil and environmental conditions in a wide variety of crops.
