Thursdays Pools Nears Completion of Campus Expansion in Fortville, Indiana

When finished, the expansion will bring the total space of their facility to 100,000 square feet, increasing production, storage and employment capacities. The expansion will result in: More than doubled total production and storage space.
The expansion will result in more than doubled total production and storage space and doubled the loading area for fiberglass pools. It will also include a dedicated manufacturing area for two Thursday Pools innovations: The Fiberglass Pool Anchoring System (FPA) and the Backfill Eliminator. Twelve acres of asphalt and stone will be dedicated to fiberglass pool storage area.
"This has certainly been an adventure," said Bill Khamis, Thursday Pools CFO. "We just added onto our facility two years ago, but we're still growing. This is just the next step for us."

We're also excited by the fact that this expansion means we'll be able to create even more jobs in Hancock County," he said.
Ed Vondell, Thursday Pools CEO added, "This expansion also allows us to increase our production capacity, enhance our quality control area and process and create an even safer working environment, as we'll have a dedicated space to inspect, store and load pools. Additionally, it makes room for us to produce the shells for our new 2019 beach entry fiberglass pool designs, Grace and Sandal."
