Planet Hollywood International Dedicates New Orlando, Florida, Headquarters
02/14/2013
“Planet Hollywood International had options,” Governor Scott said last month. “They could have moved to Minneapolis and taken the Planet Hollywood headquarters with them. Florida attracted Planet Hollywood to expand, relocate and create more jobs for Florida families, giving them the ability to live their version of the American Dream.” Since consolidating operations in Orlando late last year, they have created more than half of the jobs as part of the agreement.
Planet Hollywood CEO David Crabtree said, “The commitment and dedication to the creation of jobs shown by Governor Scott and his staff at Enterprise Florida, as well as Mayor Dyer and his staff in the Economic Development Division was instrumental in our selection of Orlando as the location for our new corporate headquarters.”
"During these tough economic times, it is especially important to nurture our home-grown businesses," added Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer. "Over the past two decades, the Planet Hollywood brand has been a proven success in our community and the City is proud to support its recent growth and the creation of jobs for our residents."
