Douglas Autotech Adding Nine Vehicle Programs to Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Plant

Douglas Autotech Corporation will invest more than $17.3 million to expand operations in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The company will create 65 jobs and add nine new vehicle programs to its line-up.

"This will mean new business for Douglas Autotech and more jobs for the people in the area. Thank you to the Governor and the economic development staff that helped make this possible for us. We see this as a win-win-win."

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority has approved Douglas Autotech for tax incentives up to $2 million through the Kentucky Business Investment program.

Douglas Autotech was founded in 1902, when it produced parts for Henry Ford's Model T. Today is produces parts for heavy truck and automobile clients including Toyota, Ford, General Motors, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Caterpillar, and Volvo.
