SYNNEX Corporation Expands Its Distribution Headquarters In Greenville, South Carolina
04/16/2015
“South Carolina’s pro-business environment makes it attractive for companies like SYNNEX to continue to invest in the community and expand its workforce. Our ongoing growth demands that we expand our facilities for current and future growth to stay ahead of the evolving needs of our customers and vendor partners”, said SYNNEX Corporation’s President, North American Distribution, Peter Larocque.
“SYNNEX established operations in South Carolina in 1998, and we are proud of its continued growth. Today’s news of SYNNEX’s multi-million dollar, job-creating investment is further proof that any company, no matter the size, can grow because Team South Carolina takes care of the businesses and workers that call our state home – and it’s another reason to celebrate”, said Governor Nikki Haley.
“We are pleased that SYNNEX is growing yet again. With its past acquisition of Concentrix and on-going growth, SYNNEX has quickly become one of Greenville County’s largest employers. We’re appreciative of this new expansion and all that it has done in our community", said Dr. Bob Taylor, Board Member of the Greenville Area Development Corporation and Chairman of Greenville County Council.
“SYNNEX is an incredible corporate citizen. From its title sponsorship of the BMW Charity Pro-Am and other charities to its annual customer conference, SYNNEX contributes much to our area. We are so pleased the company is here and continues to grow”, said GADC Chairman Dick Wilkerson.
