06/10/2015
Established in 1983 and headquartered in Orangeburg, South Carolina, Sun Solutions operates several facilities throughout the state. Since its inception, the company has expanded on its high-quality, full color, custom printing services. Today, Sun Solutions also provides its customers with marketing, mailing, signage and fulfillment services.
This expansion will be achieved with the construction of a new 105,000-square foot building. Located on Old Dunbar Road in West Columbia, the facility will allow the company to grow its workforce and create 50 new jobs. The new positions will focus on print and sign manufacturing, management, sales and information technology. The project is expected to be completed in the summer of 2016.
“We are very excited to have the opportunity to expand again in Lexington County. Having started operations here in 2008, we have expanded multiple times and are now looking forward to consolidating our Lexington and Richland County operations into one location and creating 50 new jobs along the way,” said Sun Solutions VP of Business Development Jacob Cook.
“Sun Solutions has been doing business in South Carolina for more than 30 years and we’re thrilled that this great company continues to find success here. This $10.5 million investment in our Midlands community illustrates the company’s commitment to South Carolina, and we look forward to watching them grow here for many years to come,” said Governor Nikki Haley.
“To have a great homegrown company like Sun Solutions continue to thrive here is a testament to the positive business climate we’ve fostered in South Carolina. More than just a milestone moment for the company, this new investment is a big win for our Midlands community and the entire state,” Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt added.
