National Beverage Screen Printers Invests $2.5 Million To Expand Its Williston, South Carolina Manufacturing Center
06/11/2013
“NBS is proud to call Williston home and we look forward to creating additional jobs and investing in Barnwell County. We are very blessed to be growing in a poor economy. I’d like to especially thank the Barnwell County EDC and the S.C. Department of Commerce for their support,” said National Beverage Screen Printers Inc. Director of Operations Will Roberson.
“Today’s announcement is another win for Barnwell County and shows that businesses are finding success in South Carolina’s rural counties. We celebrate NBS’s decision to invest $2.5 million and create 80 new jobs in Williston,” said Gov. Nikki Haley.
“NBS has been part of the South Carolina business community for more than two decades, and today’s announcement strengthens the company’s commitment to our state. This announcement also provides another boost to our state’s manufacturing sector,” said Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt.
“I remember when NBS made the decision in 1990 to make Williston and Barnwell County its new home. We appreciate their commitment to our community and look forward to their continued growth and success,” said Barnwell County Council Chairman Freddie Houston.
“This is wonderful news for Williston and Barnwell County as jobs continue to be created through expansion of existing industries. NBS has been a fixture in Williston for over 20 years and our congratulations to them on their continued growth,” said Pete Grady, chairman of Barnwell County EDC.
As an incentive, the Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved a rural infrastructure grant for $100,000 for building construction.
