Footwear Firm Caleres Expands Its Lebanon, Tennessee, Distribution Complex
06/12/2015
“It’s exciting to see Caleres expanding in Wilson County,” Economic and Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd said. “A majority of business growth in Tennessee comes from existing industries, so it’s extremely important for us to work with companies like Caleres to make sure they can continue their success in our state. I congratulate Caleres on this expansion and appreciate the new jobs they are creating in Middle Tennessee.”
Caleres currently employs around 240 people at its Lebanon facility. The expansion is scheduled to begin in June 2015 and expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2016.
Caleres is a diverse portfolio of global brands, which fit people’s lives: Family, Healthy Living and Contemporary Fashion. The company’s products are available virtually everywhere - in over 1,200 retail stores, in hundreds of major department and specialty stores, on branded ecommerce sites, and on many additional third-party retail websites. Famous Footwear and Famous.com serve as Family brands. Contemporary Fashion brands include Sam Edelman, Franco Sarto, Vince, Via Spiga, Diane von Furstenberg, Fergie Footwear and Carlos Santana. Naturalizer, Dr. Scholl's, LifeStride, Bzees and Ryka represent Healthy Living brands.
