Softbox Systems Locates U.S-Canadian Headquarters In Greenville County, South Carolina
06/16/2017
“We are very proud to be committing to the opening of our new U.S. and Canadian headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina, and we are pleased to be partnering with The Furman Co. | Development, a division of The Furman Co., Inc,. in the design and build of our new facility. Our highly innovative passive shippers are boosting our market share both in the U.S. and globally in the Pharmaceutical Cold Chain economy. We are excited by our plans for continuous growth while we expand our high-quality workforce and continue our commitment to customer excellence,” said Softbox Systems President Wayne Langlois.
The company’s new 65,000-square-foot U.S. and Canadian headquarters will be operational in the summer of 2018 and will house its U.S. executive team, production, warehousing and it's fully-equipped advanced laboratory. As an incentive, the Coordinating Council for Economic Development awarded a $200,000 Closing Fund grant to Greenville County to assist with the costs of building construction.
“Greenville’s pro-business environment, strong pool of skilled workforce and dynamic community feel made the decision to locate the new headquarters the perfect choice to meet the company’s growth strategy,” Softbox Systems General Manager John Hammes said.
“South Carolina continues to attract investment and job creation from all over the world, and we’re proud that Softbox has selected our state for its new U.S. and Canadian headquarters,” said Governor Henry McMaster.
“We’re very pleased with Softbox Systems’ decision to establish its U.S. and Canadian headquarters and in Greenville County. We are especially grateful that the company chose Greenville County, in large measure, due to our highly-skilled workforce and superior business climate, which is especially attuned to success in the pharmaceutical industry. We are very excited about this announcement and anticipate a great future for Softbox in our community,” said Greenville County Council Chairman H.G. “Butch” Kirven.
