Carolina Metal Finishing Expands Bishopville, South Carolina, Operations
06/19/2018
An affiliate of Paramount Metal Finishing in Linden, New Jersey, Carolina Metal Finishing supplies contract services for metal parts cleaning, assembly, industrial painting and powder coating. The company’s Lee County facility has been in operation since 2006 and currently employs 24 associates.
As an incentive, The Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved a $50,000 Rural Infrastructure Fund grant to assist with the costs of site preparation and building construction.
“Carolina Metal Finishing is very excited to be expanding our manufacturing facility in the Bishopville, S.C. area. We appreciate the support from local and state agencies to get our facility operational as soon as possible. We look forward to expanding our operations and to having continued growth in the future,” said Carolina Metal Finishing President Michael Fuschetti.
“Today, we’re proud to celebrate a win for one of our rural communities. Carolina Metal Finishing’s continued success in Lee County is proof that a positive business environment has been cultivated in all corners of South Carolina,” said Governor Henry McMaster.
“The success of existing industries, like Carolina Metal Finishing, is crucial to communities all across our state. We congratulate this important member of Team South Carolina and look forward to watching them continue to thrive here for years to come,” said Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt.
“We have always been confident in our community and our innate ability to attract quality people and grow successful businesses. Carolina Metal Finishing’s expansion demonstrates these qualities. Indeed, we are thrilled to work with them and support the expansion, and we are grateful for the additional employment opportunities it will provide,” said Mayor of Bishopville Alexander Boyd.
“We are quite pleased with not only the success Carolina Metal Finishing has had in Bishopville, but also the growth the success has spawned and the new jobs this expansion will create for our community. We are grateful and will continue to work alongside this team to ensure a successful expansion process,” TheLink Economic Development Alliance Chairman Gordon Eckley said.
