Holland 1916 Relocates Five Manufacturing Units, Headquarters, To Liberty, Missouri

A corporate parent for five manufacturers, Holland 1916, will be expanding and relocating its headquarters and three manufacturing companies to Liberty, Missouri. The expansion project includes a nearly $13 million capital investment, with plans to create 62 jobs.

Named after the year it was established, Holland 1916 manufactures quality identification products to convey branding, operating and safety information. The firm leased a 98,200 square foot facility at 2901 Heartland Drive in the Heartland Meadows Industrial Park.

Of the company’s five subsidiaries, Holland Integrated Metal Solutions, Holland Interface Solutions and Osprey Evaporation Technologies, as well as the corporate headquarters will relocate to the 98,200 square foot facility in Liberty. The other two subsidiaries, Holland Nameplate and Holland RFID, will remain in North Kansas City. The company said it intends to begin operations at the Liberty facility in August.

The company’s existing facilities were at capacity due to recent growth. “We needed a facility that could accommodate future growth, provide a more attractive work environment for our current employees and become a centerpiece of future marketing efforts to new customers and new employees. After an extensive search, we determined that the Liberty facility best accomplished those goals.” said Mike Stradinger, CEO of Holland 1916, Inc. “The City of Liberty and the State of Missouri were very helpful in the company’s search process and provided attractive incentives that made the move possible.”

The City of Liberty welcomes Holland 1916 as its newest community partner and looks forward to a mutually beneficial relationship. “We appreciate Holland 1916’s choice to expand into Liberty and the Heartland Meadows Industrial Park," said Liberty Mayor Lyndell Brenton. "By partnering with the State, LEDC and the City of Liberty, our community is able to succeed in a competitive marketplace to attract new business.”

To assist Holland 1916 with its expansion, the Missouri Department of Economic Development, the City of Liberty and Liberty Economic Development developed a strategic economic incentive package the company can receive if it meets strict job creation and investment criteria. “This move signifies a lot of effort and collaboration among many partners including LEDC, the city and the state,” said Rick McDowell, LEDC Executive Director. “LEDC is pleased to welcome Holland 1916 Inc., along with the 62 new jobs it brings to Liberty.”
