Adam Equipment Moves Headquarters-Assembly-Warehouse To Oxford, Connecticut

Adam Equipment, a global manufacturer of scales and balances, said the company is moving its United States headquarters to a 29,300 square foot facility at Fox Hollow Industrial Park in Oxford, Connecticut.

The new location, which will contain Adam’s new office, warehouse, and accommodate light assembly tasks, meets the company’s budgetary requirements and logistical needs, Tom Storey, President of Adam Equipment said.

“The move to Oxford and into a larger building will allow us to increase our warehouse and expand our operations, including customer service, sales and marketing,” Storey said. “The property is situated in close proximity to I-84. That allows Adam to continue offering superior customer service, and also helps streamline our shipping and receiving process.”

Andrew McGeever, Director of the Oxford Economic Development Commission, said the company’s manufacturing process meshes well with the town’s long-range development plans.

Adam Equipment is a dynamic company with a vision to provide professionals with weighing equipment at a value that surpasses the competition,” McGeever said. “Its growth adds to the vitality of what’s happening with the town.”
