National Medical Billing Services Opens Cuba, Missouri, Operations Center

National Medical Billing Services will invest $213,000 to open a new facility in Cuba, Missouri. The expansion project will create 11 new jobs, with the possibility for significant further job creation over the next few years.

National Medical Billing Services is a national healthcare revenue cycle management company that specializes in servicing ambulatory surgery centers and their affiliated surgeons. Lisa Rock, President of the Company, said “We were looking for an area that had a large pool of talented, hard working people interested in building a long term career with our Company, and all of our research kept pointing to Cuba as our perfect destination.”

To assist National Medical Billing Services with its expansion in Cuba, the Missouri Department of Economic Development has offered a strategic economic incentive package that the company can access if it meets strict job creation and investment criteria.

“It’s always great to see new jobs coming to the state, but it’s especially great to see Missouri-grown companies appreciate the opportunities and pro-business climate they’re afforded right here at home,” said Mike Downing, Director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development. “Companies have many options when it comes to choosing where to locate or expand, so we’re very proud to partner with National Medical Billing Services, who has decided to invest here in Cuba.”
