07/25/2017
Rudolph Logistics Group, an international logistics service provider, will establish its new 171,000-square-foot warehousing operation and logistics center at Caliber North Business Park in Greer, South Carolina.

Headquartered in Baunatal, Germany, Rudolph Logistics Group is a globally-active logistics and supply chain company that develops and provides comprehensive solutions for a wide range of industries. With an emphasis on the automotive and transportation sectors, the company will provide services for the automotive industry at its new location. The project is expected to bring more than $18 million of capital investment and create at least 150 new jobs in Spartanburg County.

“Spartanburg County is one of the most dynamic business locations in the U.S. Starting here offers great opportunities for us and the customers we serve. They can now benefit from our long-term experience as a specialist in all logistical tasks related to the automotive sector with this new location in a key manufacturing region,” Rudolph Logistics Group Managing Partner Dr. Torsten Rudolph said.

“South Carolina continues to lead the way in economic development; and, as a result, companies from all over the world are deciding to do business here. We welcome Rudolph Logistics Group to the South Carolina business community and look forward to seeing all that they will accomplish in our state,” said Governor Henry McMaster.

“Spartanburg County continues to be the place for companies from around the world to do business, and we are excited to welcome Rudolph Logistics Group to our flourishing international business community. We are thankful to all of the partners who worked collaboratively with us to help make this investment a reality,” said Spartanburg Economic Futures Group Chairman Ethan Burroughs.

“South Carolina continues to heavily invest in our logistics network to support the growth of these kinds of businesses. I congratulate Rudolph Logistics on this tremendous $18 million investment, and we look forward to watching them succeed here for many years to come,” said Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt.
