President Container Group Plans Wallkill, New York Relocation

President Container Group, a cardboard and packaging manufacturer, is moving its Woodridge, New Jersey facility to Wallkill, New York, the North Jersey Record reports. The company will eliminate 230 positions in New Jersey as part of the relocation.

President will build a 500,000-square-foot plant in the Orange County city, occupying 44 acres. The new facility will consolidate operations from President's three Moonachie, New Jersey sites.

Company Principal Rich Grossbard attributed the decision to President outgrowing its facility in Moonachie.

President was one of the first companies to locate in New Jersey's Meadowlands.
