“Colorado Springs has been a great fit for USAA. It is a community that shares our passion for serving military families,” said Kent Fortune, USAA vice president and general manager of the Colorado Springs campus. “We want to hire more people with this passion to provide our members the service they need and deserve.”

In addition, USAA also announced expansion of its operations and service center in Tampa, Florida. The financial services provider is constructing its Crosstown II building near its most recent building, Crosstown I. The new facility will be capable of housing up to 1,000 additional employees when completed in early 2019. USAA opened its Commerce Park location in 1993 and Crosstown (Phase I) in 2015. In addition to Colorado Springs and Tampa, in Plano, Texas, the company is constructing a new 150,000 square foot office building adjacent to its existing location in Legacy business park. When complete in early 2019, the building will have room for up to 850 employees. USAA opened its offices in Plano in 2014 and Addison in 2011. USAA employs 850 in the area.

“We are excited about the quality of talent we find in the North Texas area,” said Kevin Beall, USAA Assistant Vice President and General Manager of the Plano and Addison locations. “We must continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of our members. To do that, we want to hire talented people who share our passion to serve the military community.”
