We thank JobsOhio, REDI Cincinnati, the City of Hamilton and Vora Technology Park for their assistance with this project and we look forward to expanding our business in the region.”
“Barclays is a major global financial institution, and we are excited about attracting this company to Hamilton, where it will create 1,500 new jobs,” said John Minor, President/CIO of JobsOhio. “Along with business leaders, REDI Cincinnati and local officials, we look forward to working with Barclaycard as it establishes this new operation in Ohio.”
“We’re thrilled that Barclaycard chose the City of Hamilton in Greater Cincinnati to locate their operations,” said Johnna Reeder, President/CEO of REDI Cincinnati. “To date this is one of the largest economic development projects for new job creation within the last decade in the State of Ohio and will continue to be a case study for future collaboration between state, local, commercial real estate and regional economic development organizations. We thank Barclaycard for their confidence in our region and we thank our partners at JobsOhio, the City of Hamilton and Mahendra Vora for their diligence and partnership in bringing Barclaycard to the region.”
"Hamilton City Council unanimously supports and is grateful for Barclaycard’s investment in Hamilton," stated City of Hamilton Mayor Pat Moeller. "The Barclaycard project is monumentally important to the Hamilton economy, to Hamilton families as a source of quality jobs, and to the South Hamilton Crossing gateway as it develops into a premier employment and education center. The City Council is impressed by Barclaycard’s commitment to strengthening the community through volunteerism and building relationships with local charities and foundations."
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to have a world leader like Barclaycard leverage the unique technology infrastructure at Vora to create jobs,” said Mahendra Vora, CEO of Vora Ventures. “This is a dream come true partnership for Vora, the City of Hamilton, Butler County and the State of Ohio.”
