DiversiFoam Products Expands Mendota, Illinois, Factory
08/21/2017
The company manufactures extruded polystyrene foam, expanded polystyrene foam and fabricates polyisocyanurate foam billets for use in construction, insulation, packaging and OEM applications.
The company has been operating in Mendota since 1995, North Central Illinois Economic Development officials noted.
The $4 million investment will increase the facility from 100,000 to 170,000 square feet, and add 20 new jobs, according to local economic development officials. “With this expansion, we’re going to be running three shifts around the clock, with a total of 60 employees,” said Dave Blair, Production Manager.
Blair said additions to the back and side of the current building should be completed around the first of the year and will create new jobs in the area.
