Agricultural Equipment Company Expanding in Arkansas

08/22/2008
Bad Boy Mowers, a manufacturer and distributor of zero-turn mowers, will expand its operations in Batesville, Arkansas, with a $2.5 million investment. The company has purchased a 274,000-square-foot former auto components facility and will add 100 new jobs there, bringing the local work force to more than 270. The new space will be used as a distribution facility for orders placed through Tractor Supply Company, one of Bad Boy's major clients. "We have a great team at Bad Boy that has made this growth possible," says Phil Pulley, the company's CEO. "This expansion will enable us to better serve our growing customer base throughout the United States and the world." The Batesville Daily Guard reports that the state has provided incentives that include a $750,000 grant for road improvements to the company's complex.
