The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County assisted Vicintas with site selection, incentive package coordination, and workforce and training needs. The company received a $360,000 training grant from the State of Florida, as well as Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund and Quick Action Closing Fund incentives totaling $1.45 million with $1.1 million from the State of Florida and a $350,000 contribution from the City of Boca Raton.
Angela Marchi, President/CEO of Vicinitas Cancer Care stated, “More and more patients are seeking an integrative approach to their cancer care needs, but are frustrated with the limited options they have in their communities. City of Boca Raton Mayor Susan Haynie stated, “We are thrilled Vicinitas Cancer Care has selected Boca Raton. Our community has a rich history of attracting corporate headquarters, information technology and life sciences companies. Vicinitas Cancer Care brings these industries together in an exciting way.”
Kelly Smallridge, President/CEO of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County said, “The addition of Vicinitas Cancer Care reinforces the value of Palm Beach County and the City of Boca Raton as a location of choice for the healthcare industry and for corporate headquarters facilities. We look forward to welcoming this company to the community.”
