Total Quality Logistics Establishing Operations In Columbia, South Carolina
08/31/2015
Established in 1997 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Total Quality Logistics has grown into one of the largest freight brokerage firms in North America. With existing operations in Charleston, South Carolina, the Richland County facility will be TQL’s second in the Palmetto State. The new office will be in the Bank of America Financial Center at 1901 Main Street in Columbia. TQL Columbia has a target opening date of Oct. 26, 2015.
“We have experienced great success in South Carolina with our Charleston office. We’re excited to expand into Columbia, where we will have access to a deep talent pool and an opportunity to continue growing our business. Reaching into new markets like Columbia is one of the keys to our long-term success,” TQL President Kerry Byrne said.
“It’s exciting to see one of the nation’s fastest-growing companies make the decision to open up a new office in our state. With this investment, Total Quality Logistics is creating 100 new jobs in Richland County and making a real commitment to the people of South Carolina. We look forward to working with them as they grow and thrive here in the years to come,” said Governor Nikki Haley.
