Hyundai Motor Corporation will build its second plant in Brazil, according to Agence France-Presse. The company plans to invest US$600 million to build the plant in Piracicaba, approximately 90 miles northwest of Sao Paolo, and create 4,000 new jobs when construction is completed in 2011. The facility will have an annual production capacity of 100,000 vehicles. No details were released regarding the type of vehicle that will be produced there, but the company already produces a light truck in the Brazilian state of Goias.
