Education Technology Firm, EverFi, Opens New Washington, D.C. Headquarters

01/16/2014
EverFi, Inc., a firm focusing on critical skills education technology, opened a new corporate headquarters in Washington, D.C. The new facility, based in Georgetown's historic Papermill building at 3299 K Street NW, features over 22,000 square feet of workspace and meeting facilities. As part of its national expansion, the company is also opening new office spaces in Chicago and in Boston's Innovation District.

EverFi was founded in 2008 in Washington, D.C. and has grown its national education network to over 1,000 corporations, foundations, non-profits, and higher education institutions that bring EverFi's cutting-edge technology to over 6,000 K-12 schools and 500 colleges.

During the year, EverFi plans to add over fifty new team members to drive new product development, partner expansion, and K-12 and higher education implementation. In addition to roles at the new headquarters, EverFi plans to hire team members in at least ten states.

"Building a national education network requires presence on the ground and we're proud to be expanding our operations to increase the reach and impact of our educational programs," said EverFi COO Tammy Wincup. "Since we opened our doors six years ago, Washington, D.C. has been our home, and we're committed to ensuring that it remains one of the nation's most vibrant education technology sectors."
