Think North America to Produce Electric Vehicles Sooner Than Expected

The company will initially hire 25 people, and increase to full production in 2011. More than 400 people will be hired by 2013.
"I think it's a great opportunity for us to come in and get some experience to build some cars in Elkhart this year," said Brendan Prebo, Think's public relations manager.
Think North America is working with the U.S. Department of Energy for an Advanced Technology Vehicle Manufacturing loan valued in the millions of dollars. The loan would speed production and volume. Prebo said so far, the loan is on track.
