New Hampshire-based Hitchiner Manufacturing is planning a 44,000-square-foot addition to its facility in Milford, the
Nashua Telegraph
reports. The company will invest more than $8 million on manufacturing and office space.
“This represents a significant commitment to our future growth and to the maintenance of existing and new jobs at Hitchiner, not only at Gas Turbine, but at all of the company’s locations in the U.S. and in Mexico,” company President Mike Hanrahan wrote in a company memo.
Hitchiner produces molds for the automotive, aerospace, and defense industries. It employs 600 people at the Milford facility, and 2,000 workers worldwide.
