LOGOMAT Automation Systems Expands Manufacturing Facility In Hebron, Kentucky
12/03/2015
The company’s $1.02 million investment covers the cost of land, construction and new equipment. The expansion will allow LOGOMAT to increase its production while improving lean-process operations and storage. Construction will be completed this month.
“We at LOGOMAT are still very satisfied and pleased with our decision to build up our American facility in the Riverview Business Park,” said Philipp Krups, President/CEO of LOGOMAT. “The recent major expansion of our facility is the visual sign of our growth and the increased business we could generate within the past years. Our customers will benefit from quicker lead times and better availabilities, as well as from maintenance trainings and product presentations in our new product show room.”
LOGOMAT, a subsidiary of German-owned KRUPS Fördersysteme GmbH, maintains a production facility in Germany and service offices in Brazil and China. LOGOMAT provides its customers with tailored, end-to-end services from project planning, engineering and production to software-controls integration, maintenance and support.
“LOGOMAT has become an essential corporate partner in northern Kentucky over the past 15 years, and this major expansion ensures that will continue well into the future,” Governor Steve Beshear said. “Northern Kentucky is a hub for growing businesses with nearly 60 companies locating or expanding in the region this year alone. Companies such as LOGOMAT serve as models of how to continue that success.”
“LOGOMAT has expanded several times since locating and creating jobs in Boone County 15 years ago. We’re thrilled with the company’s growth,” said Boone County Judge-Executive Gary Moore, Chair of Northern Kentucky Tri-ED. “LOGOMAT is a prime example of northern Kentucky’s thriving advanced manufacturing industry. This expansion was facilitated by NKY Boost, Tri-ED’s award-winning program to help existing companies grow in our region.”
