Printing Company Expanding, Adding Jobs in Pennsylvania

02/18/2009
W.S. Packaging Group, which provides printing services and flexible packaging to commercial and industrial markets, will invest $2.4 million to expand its facility in Franklin, Pennsylvania, according to the Pennsylvania governor's office. The project is expected to create 52 new jobs. The company plans to add 25,000 square feet to its factory, with construction beginning within the month and completion expected in September. As part of the expansion, the company will move some operations from a facility in Ohio. "Relocating our Salem production to the expanded facilities in Franklin is going to allow us to more competitively support our current customers, and remain well-positioned for long-term growth," says Terry Fulwiler, CEO of W.S. Packaging. "This is a vital step in our efforts to continue investing in our business for the future." The company has been offered incentives that include $1.2 million in grants, loans, and tax credits from the state.
