Door Manufacturer Adding 150 Jobs in Indiana

Therma-Tru Doors, a manufacturer of residential steel and fiberglass door systems, will invest $5 million to expand its manufacturing operation in Butler, Indiana, according to the Indiana governor's office. The company plans to create more than 150 new jobs over the next three years, with hiring to begin next year. "Therma-Tru is pleased to provide some relief to the local economy during this uncertain time, and we appreciate the assistance of Indiana officials in helping Therma-Tru and our associates continue to pursue our business goals, as well as their willingness to help the people of Indiana," says Dave Randich, the company's president. Therma-Tru has been offered an incentives package that includes up to $1 million in performance-based tax credits and up to $200,000 in training grants from the state, continent on job creation; the city will also provide property tax abatement.
