Healthcare Investigations Company Relocating Headquarters to New Mexico
Area Development Online News Desk (03/20/2009)
PreCheck, Inc., the nation's largest provider of background verification and credentialing services for the healthcare industry, will relocate its corporate headquarters to its operations in Alamogordo, New Mexico, according to the New Mexico governor's office. The move is expected to create more than 250 new jobs over the next two years. The Dallas Morning News reports on its website that entry-level jobs with the company pay between $11 and $13 per hour; the governor's office says employees will be hired at all levels, including executives, mid-level managers, and technology specialists. PreCheck's headquarters is currently located in Houston, Texas, where the Morning News says approximately 40 employees will remain in a computer center. "Three years ago, Governor [Bill] Richardson told us that New Mexico was a great place to do business, and without a doubt, he was right," says PreCheck CEO Glenn Woolsey. "I'm extremely pleased that PreCheck has been a part of New Mexico's growth." The state has offered the company approximately $400,000 in capital improvement funds for building infrastructure improvements and expansion.
