HM Electronics Relocates Operations-Manufacturing to Carlsbad, California
03/22/2018
HME’s CEO, Chuck Miyahira, said the move was catalyzed by the significant growth the company has realized in the last few years and the outlook of continued growth in the coming years.
“Our new headquarters are twice as large as our current facility. At approximately 140,000 square feet, our new home enables a significant increase in the manufacturing capacity and provides a much improved and more enjoyable work environment for current and future staff,” says Miyahira.
According to company officials, relocating to a larger facility makes it possible for HME to keep their administrative offices, production facilities, R&D/Innovation Center, and customer support center under one roof, which has proven to be essential for excellent quality control, superior customer service, and in building a great team.
In addition to the modern workspace and state of the art manufacturing, the new building offers staff new amenities including an on-site fitness center; outdoor activity areas featuring basketball, walking trails, and bocce ball courts; and a full indoor activity center.
“We look forward to our continued growth and prosperity, as well as providing many new job opportunities,” adds Miyahira. “We’re very excited about our new home and promising future.” HME currently has over 40 open positions, including positions in engineering, sales, technical support, assembly and more.
