Korean Hanil E-Hwa Bringing 173 Jobs to LaGrange, Georgia

07/16/2010
Hanil E-Hwa, a Korean auto parts manufacturer, will locate a new plant in LaGrange, Georgia, investing nearly $8.5 million and creating 173 jobs. The company produces interiors for Kia vehicles.

"West Georgia and Troup County is a strategic location for our company, allowing greater access to one of our primary customers, Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia," said Hanil E-Hwa representative Yang Suk Ryu. "We're excited to expand our U.S. operations and take advantage of the highly-skilled work force in this region to create meaningful opportunities in this community and better serve our customers."

Georgia Quick Start will help train new employees for work.

Hanil E-Hwa will manufacture door trims, painted interior door parts, and wheel caps for a nearby Kia facility. Production will begin in October.
