Airxchange Creating 100 Jobs in Rockland, Massachusetts

07/26/2010
Airxchange, a producer of energy-saving ventilation equipment, will invest $4 million and hire 100 employees when it expands over the next three years in Rockland, Massachusetts, the Boston Business Journal reports. Construction is slated to begin on July 28.

The company received a federal Advanced Energy Manufacturing Tax Credit of $921,000 through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in January that will help fund the expansion. Airxchange will add 61,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space.

Airxchange makes "energy recovery wheels" that improve efficiency of heating, ventilation, and cooling systems. Its clients include Carrier, Lennox, and Trane.
