Area Development Online News Desk (09/01/2009)
INViSiON, a manufacturer of car seat headrests equipped with monitor screens, sound systems, and DVD players, will expand its operations in Celebration, Florida, with a $317,300 capital investment that will be offset by a state incentive, according to the Osceola News Gazette. The company will create 100 jobs at an an average annual wage of $45,063 and will receive $4,000 from the state for each job created, to be paid over a five-year period. "We're proud to be Osceola County residents and [are] trying to expand the future of employment opportunities," says Christopher Vitito, INViSiON's chief executive. He says the company works directly with automobile manufacturers and with new car dealerships, and has secured a new contract with an unnamed European carmaker. In addition to the per-job incentive, the state will provide INViSiON with $100,433 in training assistance.
