General Motors Investing $23.5M in Maryland's Baltimore Transmission Plant

09/30/2010
General Motors will invest $23.5 million to increase production of vehicle electrification parts at its Baltimore Transmission Plant in White Marsh, Maryland. The expansion will create 11 jobs.

"This will allow us to strengthen our core electrification components expertise," said GM Manufacturing Manager Arvin Jones. "We'll have more to say about specific products later."

Recovery Act dollars are partly funding the facility investments.
