The Fayetteville-Cumberland County area is poised for tremendous growth and investment opportunities as a result of BRAC2005. The area has weathered the economic downtown very well and housing has gained versus falling. Fort Bragg will be the new home of FORSCOM and USARC as of 9-15-2011. Defense and Homeland Security companies are and will be adding offices/operations in the area. Distribution continues to be a key industry due to location.
