Chief Executive Network's recent survey of its members reveals that
CEOs are bullish on fourth-quarter growth. And, although the
manufacturing/distribution sector forecast was more bullish than the
service sector forecast, the variances were not significant for the
remainder of 2007. In 2008, however, the sectors begin to diverge. The survey covered 350 companies across the service and
industrial sectors and was taken to determine how mid-market
(non-Fortune 500) and smaller companies view their near-term business
prospects. The survey reveals "they continue to be optimistic regarding
the future of the overall business economy growth," concludes Bob
Grabill, president and CEO of Chief Executive Network.
