Liqui-Box, an innovator of sustainable packaging solutions for the delivery of liquid products, plans to upgrade its U.S.-based manufacturing facility in Ashland, Ohio.

The firm said it plans to install two high-capacity, multi-lane bag machines, automate multiple processes and upgrade its film extrusion capabilities. The new, state-of-the-art equipment and upgrades will be installed at its U.S. production facility in Ashland, Ohio and another manufacturing center in Wythenshawe, England. Both the Wythenshawe and Ashland plants are fully integrated film, lamination, fitment and bag making operations servicing the food, dairy and beverage market.

Liqui-Box, a portfolio company of The Sterling Group, a Houston-based middle market private equity firm, is constantly innovating its products to ensure customers receive superior quality and performance, the company said. The manufacturer said it will continue to upgrade its operations to meet the growing and customized needs of its valued partners.
