BC Forward, an information technology consulting firm formerly known as Bucher + Christian, will invest $2 million to expand its headquarters facility in Indianapolis, Indiana, according to the Indiana governor's office. The company plans to create 200 jobs over the next three years, with an average salary of $63 per hour. BC Forward is a homegrown, minority-owned business that has grown its work force more than 1,000 percent over the past five years and has additional offices in Ohio and Russia. "While our success is directly connected to the breadth and depth of our consultants' technical expertise, our ability to develop cost-effective IT solutions and our agility to execute them is what our clients seem to find most valuable about their relationship with us," says Justin Christian, BC Forward's president and CEO. The state has offered the company up to $2.65 million in performance-based tax credits and up to $67,500 in training grants, contingent on job creation; the city will provide additional property tax abatement.
