Area Development
Electronic Arts (EA) is expanding at its site on Louisiana State University's (LSU) campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The digital arts and video game maker will create approximately 200 jobs, bringing total employment to more than 600 workers. The company will relocate to a larger facility on campus to accommodate the expansion. Total investment is $28.2 million.

EA's new 94,000-square-foot Digital Media Facility will include both the company's North American Test Center (NATC) and LSU's Center for Computation & Technology.

EA has pledged to work with Louisiana FastStart and LSU to develop curricula, and to partner with Louisiana Economic Development (LED) to build the state's digital media arts sector.
